Haylin Strombach is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. She lived in Los Angeles for twelve years and obtained her Master’s Degree at the University of Southern California. She worked for the Los Angeles Department of Mental Health Psychiatric Emergency Team, Residential Adolescent Drug Treatment Facility, and River Oak Center for Children. Upon her return to Hawaii, she was the Mental Health Coordinator for Hawaii State Judiciary Family Drug Court. Currently, she is the Suicide Prevention Coordinator at VAPIHCS, and serves as a member of The Oahu Prevent Suicide Hawaii Task Force. Haylin is also a Field Liaison representing The American Foundation For Suicide Prevention, and has run her own private practice for 2 years. Her passion continues to be helping veterans achieve happy and healthy relationships, especially the one they have with themselves.
